Rの大きなライトが特徴のインスタレーションが展示されているエントランスでは、スタイリッシュな空間にぴったりな、シックでスパイシー、かつ深みのあるウッディな香りでお客様をお迎えしています。
イタリア語で「目覚める」、「覚醒する」を意味する“リズベリオ”（Risveglio）。居住性と未完の美が融合した特別な空間は都会人が忘れかけた感性を目覚めさせるアート＆ファニチャーがちりばめられています。
全71室あるすべての部屋には、それぞれ国内外の新進気鋭アーティストによるオリジナルアートが手描きされ、全ての部屋に泊まってみたくなるほど。
デザインだけでなく「眠り、やすらぎ」にもこだわり、“完璧なボディーサポートを実現した“とされる新素材、ゲルテックスを使用したドイツの名門、シェララフィア社製のベッドとピローパフを全室に導入、また、タブレットPCも全室に配置されています。

Awakening the Senses at Hotel Risveglio Akasaka
A new hotel blending art and design to inspire the senses has just opened in Tokyo’s Akasaka. An “R” light installation welcomes visitors in the entrance hall, and adding to the Tokyo sense of style is a chic and spicy scent with a hint of wood, produced by Air Aroma.
In Italian, ‘risveglio’ means ‘to awaken’. Each of the 71 rooms in the hotel has been carefully fitted with art and furniture both comfortable and full of possibility, to ‘awaken the senses’ of the busy hotel guest. The stunning, original handwritten artwork by leading domestic and international artists in every room makes one want to stay in all 71 spaces.
Design is not the only noteworthy element, of course. Each room comes equipped with a tablet PC, as well as bed and bedding by Schlaraffia, Germany’s premier bedding company. Their innovative Geltex mattress promises “perfect body support” to ease guests into a deep sleep.
THE CONCEPT:
We humans are often drawn to objects that are not fully complete, and thus filled with possibility. We have incorporated these “unfinished” design elements throughout the hotel to perhaps awaken and hone the senses of our guests.
