新しい感覚のスポット。
水族館でアートの企画展が行われるという不思議な催しが2016年11月8日(火)～2017年3月14日(火)の期間、すみだ水族館で開催中です。
去年の「蜷川実花×すみだ水族館」に続き、今年も蜷川実花さんが空間に合わせて選んだ２つの香りで演出しています。
生き物とアートのコラボレーション「生きているアート」。
そして訪れる人と「生きているアート」そのものが空間で共存する。
その空間から自分の感受性が自然に引き出され、自分なりの楽しみ方に出会えます。
昼間は子連れでも楽しめる子ども向けのクラゲオーナメントワークなども開催。
子どもが生み出した作品が水族館の風景の一部になるドキドキが楽しめます。子どもは静かで不思議な場所が大好き。親子で感性を刺激する時間が過ごせます。
夜は、ゆったりとした薄暗さ、ドリンク片手に椅子でリラックス。ゆらゆらと気持ちよさそうに過ごす生き物の中で、日々の疲れがすっと癒され心がホッとします。
生き物たちとの「共存」から、新しい生命力、活力も与えてもらえるようです。
「蜷川実花×クラゲ」のメインは
壁と天井が約5000枚の鏡で囲まれた「クラゲ万華鏡トンネル」。
昼と夜、時間帯に合わせて映像・香り・音楽も変化します。
昼間バージョンは
花々が美しく拡がり、クラゲがふんわりと浮かぶ鮮やかな色彩の中
「華やかな」香りで演出しています。
魅惑的で甘いフレグランスです。
夜バージョン(18:30〜)はスタイリッシュで都会的な「蒼く澄んだクール」な香りで演出。 モノクロームな大人の空間に変化します。都会にふわふわと浮かぶクラゲを見ていると現実と幻を同時に感じてまどろみ、夢を見ているようです。
ここでしか体験できない五感で感じる幻想的な世界。

Experience the Live Art of “Mika Ninagawa x Jellyfish”

No, wait, this experience is something more.
A mystical art installation is being held at Sumida Aquarium from November 8th, 2016 to March 14th, 2017. Following the “Mika Ninagawa x Sumida Aquarium” event of last year, we are once again participating with two unique scents in Ninagawa’s installation space.
This “live art” is a collaboration between the living creatures (jellyfish), photography, and visitors who enter the installation space. Each visitor is invited to enjoy the event in any way they are called.
During the day, bring the kids to the “jellyfish ornament-making workshop” and see their original works displayed in the aquarium. Many children thrive in quiet, magical environments, and it promises to be a fulfilling time for both parent and child.
At night, relax into the aquarium chairs with a drink in hand under dim, moody lights. Be mesmerized by the soft movements of the jellyfish and feel your tired soul be soothed. Leave the aquarium with a renewed outlook on life and its various forms.
The main “Mika Ninagawa x Jellyfish” installation can be found in the “Jellyfish Kaleidoscope Tunnel”, where visitors are surrounded by approximately 5,000 mirrors on the walls and ceilings. The installation video, scents and music differ from day to night.
In the daytime version, a warm, flowery fragrance elevates Ninagawa’s beautiful flowers (photography and video) and glowing jellyfish, adding unforgettable charm.
The night version begins at 6:30pm, and introduces a stylish and urban cool fragrance. The space itself takes on a monochrome, sophisticated tone in the evening, inviting visitors into a gentle dream-state.
Enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience with all five senses, and relax into the art installation at any time of the day. It’s an art event you will not forget.
